In the novel, The Protectorate is a century-old society of women who have quietly shaped history - supporting each other in business, philanthropy, and power, long before anyone called it a network. We're exploring whether that idea belongs in the real world too: a global community of women supporting one another across business, philanthropy, and political life - eventually with local chapters, conferences, seminars, and initiatives build by and for its members.
This isn't official yet. It's an idea we're testing - and we want to know if it resonates with you.

Samantha Sonnett is a retired NYPD Counterterrorism/CBRNe Unit officer with more than twenty years of service, a current DHS contractor delivering CBRN and WMD training to first responders and DoD personnel nationwide, and a global security consultant.
A peer-reviewed author and master’s degree candidate at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, she is the founder of Sonnett House Publishing.
The Protectorate: A Phoenix Rises is her debut novel - the first in a 3 book series.
She currently lives in New Jersey with her wife, her ornery cat, and two dogs, Max and Millie.
